The greed of many is like a craving that hits every second and it cannot be contained; it has to be satisfied. Captain Barbosa tells the story of Cortezs cursed gold coins and what the curse has done to him and his crew. The curse has made them live forever without senses to taste or feel. They roam the sea looking for the day they could finally break the curse. Captain Barbosa now understood that his greed had taken away from him things he found no value to but now craves for it the most. And when the curse was finally lifted the man Captain Barbosa once betrayed killed him and from his hand an apple falls symbolizing his desire to once again be able to taste the sweet juice of food. This shows that even the greediest pirate sees beyond the material things and longs for the things he always had. Many of us get consumed by greed and do not realize until is too late and the damage cannot be repaired. Well matey our trip has come to an end. This end that would bring a new beginning and a new sense on the price of greed. Is this a price that we are willing to pay for? Hopefully is not and we have learned from the pirates of the Black Pearl and learn to be satisfied with what is there.
